Welcome to A Tranquil Journey Doula Services and what a journey it will be. You are on a new life path to becoming a mother, and every mother can benefit from doula support. I  can walk this path with you and provide you with invaluable childbirth education and planning.

During your labor as your doula I can encourage you verbally, help you to prepare your mind and body for birth, provide massage, relaxation techniques, and accupressure to help you cope with the discomfort. I can coach your partner to help you. I will be working on your birth story, and photographing your baby's birth as well. Having a baby is you putting love into action.Studies have shown that women who are supported by doulas have a 50% reduction in cesarean rate,  25% shorter labor, 60% reduction in epidural request, 40% reduction in pitocin use, and the benefits go on and on.
